The Edgewater was an excellent resort overall. The staff and service were top notch. Adrian the Client Services Manager was particularly helpful. The restaurant and food were very good and reasonably priced and on par with eating out in Auckland.
The only issue was that we were told we shouldn't drink the tap water in our ocean view room, but they don't provide filtered water stations! You have to buy bottled water or walk down the road to one of the public ones. We were told they were about to install 3 water stations which will solve this problem.
Recommend you join the Edgewater Coral Club before you travel, it's free and gets you upgrades and special event invites.
We will be back!

Our 1st stay and not to be last. 101% recommended. Nice location to cover what you need. The staff what makes this venue so special are nicest and no exaggration.. happy hour is awesome. The food and entertainment are so lovely. Breakfast is enjoying delicious fresh fruit and other foods and drinks. Love the cocktails and spaggette house.. bus comes in and out so handy about..Great place for families. Some concens to get improved: Room (1013) safety box was not working and no try to fix, some outdoor tables are higher than chars so made difficulty for my kid even us.

A great resort in Rarotonga that offers the best value for money. You can get better resorts but Edgewater has superior location, amenities, and service. Fitment and upkeep are continuously done. The resort has got one of the best spots in the island for viewing sunsets.

Rooms: We stayed in a 3BR garden villa and it was spacious and well-equipped. Furnishings are 3-star level and fully functional.

Couldn’t recommend enough! Staff were lovely!! We originally had a garden room booked and asked to be upgraded to the beachfront rooms - this was gifted to us a wedding gift they even let us check out late because of our wedding. Thank you so much to The Edgewater Resort for making our holiday the best 💕

Noteworthy details: We got married at the Edgewater - a private wedding with a few close family members.
Miriana made the whole process easy and the package included photos, dinner and my makeup. The photos were perfect!
We got an upgrade to a beach front room on arrival 😍
A beautiful setting and a no fuss, stress free day, without the huge expense.

Snorkelling right out the front of the resort was amazing, sat, and watched whales 🐋 jumping out of the water at breakfast.

Staff were so kind and very welcoming. Great Resort, if you have kids , the kids club was fantastic, feeding fish in the lagoon and taking the kids to catch crabs.

Overall, we will definitely come back.

Great place to stay right on beach ⛱️ amazing sunsets and whales daily. Getting a bit old but balcony rooms spacious with a spa. Food really good at Resort in line with most others in price. Pool too small for amount of guests wi-fi very poor. Staff are all fantastic 👏 rooms cleaned beautifully. Would recommend!

Nearby activities: Plenty of activities away from resort just jump on bus and go! Can also organise taxis or pick ups for bigger groups. Get a bus trip ticket for NZ$35 for 10 trips best value taxis can vary a bit!
